Breakfast Pizza

This is one of my favorite breakfast to make ever but it is time consuming for sure. However, if you are smart, unlike me, you can make and cook the pizza crust the day before and have it ready for the next morning, then all you have to do is make your eggs, bulldog gravy (this is what my granny calls it), bacon and sausage. But it is what it is.. Making the dough fresh is one of my favorite things to smell and do. It is super easy when you have a good quality bread machine ( Amazon store front ). Bulldog gravy is something my granny made all the time for us, it was a treat of course due to it mainly being bacon grease, flour and milk. 😂 Start with cooking your bacon, use that for the gravy.  Bulldog Gravy: 1/4-1/2 Cup Bacon Grease 1/4 Cup Flour Milk (I just pour until its not thick then thicken it) Salt & Pepper, to taste -Place grease in sauce pot, warm up. Add flour and cook off for 1-2 mins be sure to whisk often. Now, pour milk, I usually just add enough milk to thin out the

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream

I love ice cream, and making ice cream is my most favorite thing ever! With it heating up in Ohio I am foaming at the mouth with ideas for ice cream recipes. I just cannot wait to share them all!!
You Will Need:
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
2 Cups Heavy Cream
2 Cups Whole Milk
1 Cup Sugar, divided
1 Organic Vanilla Bean
5 Eggs, divided
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Cuisinart Ice Cream Machine
Tovolo Ice Cream Container
Heat vanilla bean, half the sugar, heavy cream, and milk heat until just boiling (you do not want to ruin the milk)
Take egg yolks, and other half of sugar and beat until pale and fluffy about 4-8 minutes
Once the milk is warm (sorry not pictured) you want to add a little of the milk to the egg mixture and stir, add about 1/2 the picture total and then pour the egg/milk mixture into the pan again. Add vanilla
Heat over medium heat until thick and coating the  back of a wooden spoon, may take 10 minutes (keep stirring)
Strain custard
Place plastic wrap on top, making sure it touches the custard and place in fridge for 3 hours or overnight
Make your cook dough, while custard gets cold. Roll into small balls (smaller than I have here)
Freeze until needed
Freeze according to your directions on your ice cream machine
Add chocolate chip cookie dough with 5 minutes remaining, add as much or as little as you like
Mine takes 20 minutes to freeze
So good!!
Place in a freezer safe bowl, I used glass because I did not have my silicone containers yet
There you go! Amazing homemade vanilla cookie dough ice cream!!
