Focaccia

Focaccia is soooo fun to make esp with kids. I love getting my kids involved in cooking. The younger you get them cooking, the more love they have for it and want to do it. I started my son off at 4 years old.. today he LOVES to cook. I did not do the same with my daughter and she is really not into cooking. So, I decided any children we have going forward, their little butts will be cooking. Anytime my nieces or nephews are over, we cook together (bread, pizza, biscuits, whatever).  You Will Need: 4 Cups Bread Flour (King Arthur) 2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Sugar (honey or agava)  1.5 tsp Yeast 1 tbsp Oil (olive or avocado) 1 3/4 Cups Warm Water  Bake at 445 degrees 10-12 minutes

Texas Roadhouse Rolls

These rolls are amazing! Light, fluffy, and super moist! They will please any guest for the Holiday's, that I can promise you! You can easily divide this recipe in half, and make the amount you desire. Or you can leave it at this amount and freeze them before cooking (or fully cook and then freeze- it is all up too you). If you put the time in making these, you more than likely will not have any left over, we hardly do.
You Will Need:
4 1/2 tsp Yeast {Bob's Red Mill}
2 1/2 Cups Warm Milk {110-120 degrees}
1/2 Cup Sugar
6 tbsp Butter, unsalted & melted
2 large Eggs, room temp
1 tbsp Salt
7-9 Cups Flour
In your KitchenAid stand mixer, attached with dough hook (buy here), add the yeast, warm water, and honey (or coconut sugar); mix lightly to help the yeast dissolve, allow to sit and bloom for 5 minutes {mine took 2 in a half minutes because I use quality yeast (make sure to refrigerate your yeast)}
Add eggs, and half of your flour, and mix to combine
Let this rise for 1 hour or until bubbly
Add remaining flour, and mix well
Grease your bowl, I used butter, add the dough, cover to rise for 1 hour or until double in size. I placed this in warm area; in my microwave, off, above my oven
Beautiful. Roll out
*Can do this one of two ways*
A- Roll the dough about an inch tall, cut the dough in 48 pieces, you will end up having 8 dinner rolls per 6 rows; make sure to place these a half of an inch to an inch apart, cover again all allow a final rise; for 1 hour or until doubled in size. OR...
B- Pinch pieces of dough off, roll into a nice ball, and place on cookie sheet half of an inch to an inch a part and allow to rise for 1 hour or until doubled. Once doubled in size, brush the tops with melted butter, and bake for 16-18 minutes or until golden brown.
