Focaccia

Focaccia is soooo fun to make esp with kids. I love getting my kids involved in cooking. The younger you get them cooking, the more love they have for it and want to do it. I started my son off at 4 years old.. today he LOVES to cook. I did not do the same with my daughter and she is really not into cooking. So, I decided any children we have going forward, their little butts will be cooking. Anytime my nieces or nephews are over, we cook together (bread, pizza, biscuits, whatever).  You Will Need: 4 Cups Bread Flour (King Arthur) 2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Sugar (honey or agava)  1.5 tsp Yeast 1 tbsp Oil (olive or avocado) 1 3/4 Cups Warm Water  Bake at 445 degrees 10-12 minutes

Swiss Steak {aka Pepper Steak}

Growing up my mother always bought those frozen T.V. dinners and I loved the pepper steak so much. But being an adult and finally understanding what is in my food I took a stand against T.V. dinners and decided to put my love for cooking to use. I found out how to make my favorite meal and how to freeze it like those tiny T.V. dinners! Trust me I have never gone back to them and never will. This is by far one of my favorite meals.
You Will Need:
2 lb Grass Fed Organic Top Round Steak
2 Cups Cooked Rice
32 oz. Creamy Tomato Soup
2-4 Bell Peppers
3 Medium Onions
1 pkg. Mushrooms
1/2-1 Cup Flour
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Cut mushrooms
Cut peppers
Cut onions- add to pan
Cover meat in flour
Place in a cast iron pan covered with olive oil and cook on medium for roughly 5 to 6 minutes a side- this is to brown the meat only
Be sure to get all the brown out of the pan that is going to thicken the 'sauce'
BEAUTIFUL!
Add your tomato soup, also add water to each can, about 4 tbsp and swish around
My gosh, my husband, Daniel, took an amazing picture
Season and mix
In the oven it goes, cover with foil and cook at 350 degrees for 3-4 hours, if the sauce is not thicken you will need to thicken it with organic corn starch or arrowroot powder
Make your rice
Add the meat, pepper mixture to the rice and mix together
