Protein Chocolate Chip & Blueberry Bagels

These are soooooo good! My kids ask me to make these ALL the time. Esp my picky eater, she loves them!! Def can add whatever you want to them, or as toppings. I love mine with either plain or strawberry cream cheese. Yum! I know what I am making this week! No judging, our microwave broke and we decided to order new appliances, these were just old and needed to go, had them for 8 years. I LOVE our new appliances!  Funny story content: I was making mini corndogs and the stupid muffins would not stop crumbling! I was pissed and kinda sorta hit the pan on the side of our counter until it dented! oops.  My son, the one speaking, loves throwing that in my face. 😀  You Will Need: 2 Cups Flour 1 tsp Salt 2 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Cinnamon 1 Cup Greek Whole Milk Vanilla Yogurt 2 tbsp Honey  Chocolate Chips/Blueberries (I used frozen wild ones, thawed) Melted Butter, brushed on top before cooking. Cook 400 degrees for 10-15 mins or until golden brown.

Puff Pastry

Puff pastry is a new task that I wanted to master before the Holidays. Luckily for me, I can master new tasks in a short time, which is basically all I have! Eek! Making puff pastry is NOT difficult nor hard; it just requires patience and time. If you have those, then you are golden, and will do just fine! Take a deep breath, and relax....this is fun! If you have a food processor, this will be super simple for you, and you will not need much time; unfortunately I do not have a food processor (all the ones I have ever bought break within months! SUCKS! so I gave up! ha) and used my hands and a fork, but you can definitely use a pastry blender. Okay, let's get this party started!! I have something super exciting planned for this bad boy!
You Will Need:
2 Cups Flour
2 1/2 Sticks Butter, Cold
1/2 Cup Cold Water
1 tsp Salt

Take your 2 fun sticks of butter and cut into pieces, not too big and not too small- place in fridge while we continue onward
Dissolve salt into the water
Stir until dissolved
Measure out your flour and stiff it into a big bowl or the bowl of your food processor
Dice the remaining butter, same size as other
Add to flour
Mix until coarse crumbs, can take about 2-5 minutes with your hands, with a food processor pulse 5 to 6 times, be sure to check it do not over do it
Perfecto!
Add remaining butter from the fridge
Continue to work the butter into the flour, or pulse another 4 times- again do not over do it in the food processor
Add salt water mixture and continue to work until dough forms (same with food processor, pulse until dough forms then stop!)
Not bad...
Do you see that butter!! OMGG!!
Flour surface and turn dough onto it, roll dough- does not matter how big or small just roll enough out
Fold in threes, then in half...
Wrap tight in plastic wrap and place in freezer for 10 minutes... (Continue to the above step and this step 4 more times!)
After the fourth rolling and resting, roll out super thin, as thin as you can...
And fold
Another side
Cut in half, and tightly plastic wrap them... place in zip lock and label.. you are done until you need one for another recipe! (Which I have something super exciting planned for these bad boys!)
