Protein Chocolate Chip & Blueberry Bagels

These are soooooo good! My kids ask me to make these ALL the time. Esp my picky eater, she loves them!! Def can add whatever you want to them, or as toppings. I love mine with either plain or strawberry cream cheese. Yum! I know what I am making this week! No judging, our microwave broke and we decided to order new appliances, these were just old and needed to go, had them for 8 years. I LOVE our new appliances!  Funny story content: I was making mini corndogs and the stupid muffins would not stop crumbling! I was pissed and kinda sorta hit the pan on the side of our counter until it dented! oops.  My son, the one speaking, loves throwing that in my face. 😀  You Will Need: 2 Cups Flour 1 tsp Salt 2 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Cinnamon 1 Cup Greek Whole Milk Vanilla Yogurt 2 tbsp Honey  Chocolate Chips/Blueberries (I used frozen wild ones, thawed) Melted Butter, brushed on top before cooking. Cook 400 degrees for 10-15 mins or until golden brown.

Canning Salsa {MRS. WAGES}

When canning anything you need to make sure to follow the directions to a tee! You cannot defer from the safe recipe that is provided to you. I do not want to name names, but I have seen some canning YouTubers who are NOT following the safe directions given to them and go off on their own doing whatever they wish. You cannot, by any means, do that unless you speak to the company first and get the approval from them. If you have no experience with canning, then I recommend starting with with this recipe as it is super easy and does not require you to have much skill {if you are new, this is a water bath canned recipe and that makes it super easy to follow along}. Sanitize your jar according to the link here! The link provided is to ball's website for beginners. And remember, when canning do it safely, according to the safe websites above and follow directions to a tee. This recipe only allows you to can in pints, so you will need 5 pint jars. You can also go to to the National Center for Home Food Preservation and find all safe recipes and how to maintain and sanitize your jars! Good luck and be safe!!
After I made this the first time, I cannot tell you how fast Daniel, Kristopher, and Kailee cowed through this stuff! AMAZING!! RIGHT?! Of course it is, but the crappy thing is I only made one batch and by the third day that batch was down from 5 pints to only 2 pints left!! I ended up having to make this 4 more times, and now we have a pretty good stock on it which is nice. Here is one thing I love, love, love about this packet... You do not have to use fresh tomatoes {you can of course, just follow directions for that- as I did not use them here}, you can use canned tomatoes which means you are able to can all winter long and restock your salsa as it exits your pantry. Because believe me once people try this salsa it will leave the pantry in a heartbeat! Here you will find Mrs. Wages packets to buy!!  I am sure I am going to be asked, I spoke with Mrs. Wages company and have proof on my FaceBook if needed, that you can blend up 3 cans of the tomatoes to make a more liquid salsa texture. My kids always dip chips for the liquid only, so I will be doing that next time I make salsa (blend 3 cans, and leave 3 cans whole).
**Hint hint!! GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT for a gift basket! {I will be doing a post on that soon!!}
