Focaccia

Focaccia is soooo fun to make esp with kids. I love getting my kids involved in cooking. The younger you get them cooking, the more love they have for it and want to do it. I started my son off at 4 years old.. today he LOVES to cook. I did not do the same with my daughter and she is really not into cooking. So, I decided any children we have going forward, their little butts will be cooking. Anytime my nieces or nephews are over, we cook together (bread, pizza, biscuits, whatever).  You Will Need: 4 Cups Bread Flour (King Arthur) 2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Sugar (honey or agava)  1.5 tsp Yeast 1 tbsp Oil (olive or avocado) 1 3/4 Cups Warm Water  Bake at 445 degrees 10-12 minutes

Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Crispy chicken does not have to be looked at as a 'bad' meal or a meal you only have once in awhile. As long as you use pure ingredients and good quality cook oil to fry in then the meal does not have to be so 'bad'. I cannot get enough of these sandwiches!! So amazing!! Give them a try and let me know what you think and if you like them because I truly believe these will be a family favorite!
You Will Need:
Chicken Breast, cut in half
1 Cup Buttermilk
3 tbsp Chicken Spice
Buns
Green Leaf Lettuce
Tomatoes
Mayo
2 Cups Flour
Coconut Oil, frying
Salt
Add your dry seasonings
And buttermilk, mix well and refrigerate for 3-6 hours
THE ONLY oil I will fry with!
Dip chicken in flour
Both sides
Fry each side until golden brown (about 6-7 minutes)
Beautiful!
Add mayo to your bun (ours is homemade, if you want to see that recipe let me know)
Add lettuce and tomato, salt the tomato
Top with chicken and top bun and wah bam!
