These canned strawberries are my favorite for smoothies, over angel food cake, plain with whipped cream on top, Kristopher and Kailee take these to school in their planet-box lunch boxes, and at home. I cannot tell you how much Kristopher and Kailee love these. The other night when I canned these, I had some left over so I place it in the fridge to cool, and served it in a ramekin for their "dessert" kind of like a TV dinner! It was amazing, they loved it!! =]] Okay, now that you get where I am coming from on safety, let's get to canning the strawberries.
