Beef Stew

Winter time for me means crockpot soups, stews and more comfort foods. Beef stew is a family favorite like most my recipes. I swear the kids tell me all the time "mom you are an amazing cook." Sometimes, I do not believe them because I make mistakes, I fuck up, it is called being human. Butttttt other times, I am like hells yes I am!!! That dinner was amazing!!! This is one of those. You Will Need: 1 Chuck Roast 1 Bag Small Potatoes, cut 1 Bag Baby Carrots 64 oz. Beef Bone Broth (this is important) 4-6 packets Beef Gravy (I use Kinder Bone Broth Gravy) It is important you use beef bone broth. Why? Because bone broth is sooooo good for you! It has natural collagen and fats that keep you from getting sick. We switched to bone broths ONLY and have rarely gotten sick during winter months. Nothing more than a common cold, no flu, no covid *knocks on wood*! Crockpot cook on high for 4 hours, low 6 hours. I like low and slow!!

Chocolate Peppermint Bark

Chocolate peppermint bark is simply the easiest gift you could make anyone. I love making this for baby showers within the church (as the children eat it up and is less messy), birthday gift bags, goodie bags after a party, or for Christmas gifts or get togethers. This is always on our table during the Holidays (soon to be on the Island once we move into the house). It is kind of hard to find a good quality peppermint candy (cane or mint) that is not full of nasty additives... well look no further I have brought you the missing piece to your every longing search!! GoOrganic peppermint candies are simply amazing! Let me say this, now this is my own personal opinion not medically supported, but when Aunt Flow pays her God awful visit every month I love having these on hand for the cramps and headaches! Works like a charm! You can buy yours here in bulk from GoOrganic (I buy bulk since we go through so much with family, friends, church friends, kids, the kids friends, and well myself!! Be sure to enter the giveaway following this post below!!

You Will Need:
12 oz. Organic Chocolate
GoOrganic Peppermint Candies
Unbleached Parchment Paper
Break your chocolate into tiny pieces
Place chocolate into a heat safe glass container over simmering water (do not boil the water or it will ruin the chocolate
Place your GoOrganic peppermint candies into a ziplock
Crush them yummy babies!! It's so sad to see them crushed, but soooo yummy!
Keep stirring the chocolate until it is fully melted, I still had a little chunks still
Pour onto your parchment paper and make it an even level
Sprinkle the peppermint candies on top and place in freezer for 1-2 hours or until solid
So I had Kailee spread the rest of the peppermints on here so I could get a photo, and the child just dumps them!! haha oh well still yummy
Now wouldn't you want to give these to your family/friends for the Holidays!! Of course they will forever be thankful if you give them a homemade gift of yumminess!!
