CopyCat Del Taco Chicken Tacos

Living in Arizona for 13 years of my adolescent life I grew up loving Del Taco. My parents would get take out there often. My sister, Michelle, that was her favorite taco out. If we did take out one night, Michelle always wanted Del Taco over anything else. She loves the chicken tacos. Now that I live in Ohio, Del Taco is not really out here. I have found 1 or 2 but they are some distance away from us. So, I decided to try and make that for my Sunday Family Movie night pick. Tonight, is my pick and I drew Mexican food so why not give it a try.  Marinade: 3 Large Chicken (I used thin chicken breast), diced 1 Lime, juiced 1 tbsp Taco Seasoning  1 tbsp Soy Sauce 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion Powder 1 tsp Chicken Bouillon Powder 1/4 tsp Paprika Place all ingredients above into a ziplock, shake well and marinade for 30 minutes to an hour. I found the longer the better flavor.  White Sauce: 1 cup Mayo 1 Lime, juiced Whisk together in a bowl until smooth, set aside until ready for assembly.

Dog Treats

Making my girls some homemade treats that are healthy for them makes me happy! Not only are these treats easy to make and affordable but they are hip/joint support for your puppy friends! As the gelatin used supports hip and joints. One thing I love about these are that dogs with sensitive tummies like IsaBella Rose can still eat them. And if your fur babies get sick and need a rice chicken broth diet to calm upset tummies these are your go too, well they are for us! Not a lot of you know but IsaBella Rose has a very sensitive stomach, she cannot have grains, dairy, beef, byproducts or she will throw up. There was a time where we had her tested for everything because she throw up almost daily, and all it was, was allergies to the food she was eating. So, we switched the food and started giving her these once or twice a week to help keep her tummy calm. And I am happy to report she has not thrown up in almost a year!! *knocks on wood!!*

You Will Need:
3 tbsp Great Lakes Gelatin
3 tbsp Water
1 1/2 Cups Organic Hot Bone Broth
Organic Cooked Rice
Silicone Mold or Ice Tray Mold
Measure your gelatin out in a separate bowl
Bowl water, add rice, and add until rice is done
I heated my chicken broth to boil in the microwave but you can def bring it to a boil on the stove
I did not picture here, but you need to add water to gelatin and mix
Then add that mixture to the broth and whisk until gelatin is dissolved
Add rice to bottom of each mold
Pour gelatin/broth mixture over rice and place in fridge for 30 minutes or until set
There they are! Gelatin dog treats! I had videos of the dogs eating these but they got delete! I do have a couple photos!

They LOVED them!
