Focaccia

Focaccia is soooo fun to make esp with kids. I love getting my kids involved in cooking. The younger you get them cooking, the more love they have for it and want to do it. I started my son off at 4 years old.. today he LOVES to cook. I did not do the same with my daughter and she is really not into cooking. So, I decided any children we have going forward, their little butts will be cooking. Anytime my nieces or nephews are over, we cook together (bread, pizza, biscuits, whatever).  You Will Need: 4 Cups Bread Flour (King Arthur) 2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Sugar (honey or agava)  1.5 tsp Yeast 1 tbsp Oil (olive or avocado) 1 3/4 Cups Warm Water  Bake at 445 degrees 10-12 minutes

Lemon Blueberry Cookies

These cookies my daughter made, she did an amazing job! I dislike blueberries, but I ate me a crap load of these babies! They were amazing. My daughter is starting her own section on my blog and YouTube "Kiss & Bake Up" I could not be prouder of her for wanting to follow her passion of baking. I love to cook, do not like baking. She loves to bake, does not like cooking lol we are complete opposites! I LOVE IT!! I feel like this brings us closer together. I do the cooking and she does the baking, we are normally in the kitchen together most days. Since coming off her seizure medications, she has really changed! I love this women she is becoming every day. She has started playing piano sooo much more now, even with two hands. Before, she only played with her right hand and never could get her brain to figure out how to use both. Now, she has it DOWN!! and boy it is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard! I will have to post a short next time she plays.
You Will Need:
3/4 Cup Butter, Room Temp.
4 oz. Cream Cheese, Room Temp.
1 3/4 Cups Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
4 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tbsp Lemon Zest
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
3 Cups Flour
1 Cup White Chocolate Chips (I only use Ghirardelli)
1 Cup Fresh Blueberries
