Coffee Concentrate

Coffee is not my go to, however my husband loves it! I have a VERY VERY low caffeine tolerance, a few sips and I am hyper and jittery all day long. No joke.. One day I drank maybe 2 oz of coffee and I painted our whole kitchen in an hour! My husband was amazed! 😂 Anyhow, with prices on the rise, I am trying to find ways to save! F K-Cups!! F Cold Brew for $7.99 (not on sale)!! No thank you inflation! I figured out exactly how to make it CHEAP!!! And taste just as fresh as it did when I brewed it! I bought Starbucks Vanilla Coffee (only one I like) on sale for $6.99 a bag. I was able to make 14 jars of coffee cold brew costing me about $.49 a 32 oz jar! or $.98 for 64 oz (in store they are $7.99 on sale for $5.00 for 1 64 oz container of Starbucks cold brew).
You Will Need:
1 1/2 Cups Ground Coffee
16 Cups Water
Instant Pot
Mason Jars
First place your coffee grounds in the instant pot, add 16 cups of flittered water (I have a water system we used). Pressure cook for 5 minutes and allow to cool by itself (unlocking on its own takes about an hour). Once unlocked, I strained it threw a fine strainer. Poured into jars half way full, add flittered water the rest of the way leaving 1 inch headspace so they can expand when they freeze. And boom thats it. Place a ring and lid on top, and freeze. I made this stronger on purpose so when it thaws if it waters down, it won't affect the flavor, it will be perfect.

Let me know if you give this a try and be sure to share this and pin it! 😀 Never know when you will be without power, and having coffee you can thaw and refreeze is a must!
